Not to sound ungrateful to the translators here, but it's pretty funny that they translated the "useless" text first and not what they saying.

Probably not someone who speaks Japanese as a first language and can only pick up on little quotes or whatnot.
But then who am I to say? I don't know what any of it means, other than guessing from context of course, but I'm pretty sure we can all do that ^_^
