yes Medea did kill children but one of gods i forget which turned her evil ways around into a more maternal being who cares for children which is why Caster is aacting this weird lol.

I think it's more of a flanderization of casters actions in Unlimited Blade Works. (when she depowered and captured saber, she put saber in a white dress... and chained her to a wall)
