For anyone wondering what Cao Cao's doing in this picture -- in the novel, the catalyst for Zhou Yu recommending to Sun Quan that he fight Cao Cao instead of capitulating (leading to the Battle of Chi Bi) was Zhuge Liang telling him about a time that Cao Cao openly yearned to take the Qiao sisters for himself.
