Batman trained them in an early age. As I know Dick was 10 and started as Robin in the age of 12. Jason was only months younger than Dick, Tim is 5 years younger and now Damian is 12 year old Robin. Makes Batman pretty old...probably late 40's.

Also another trivia Batgirl is a yeart older then Dick Grayson. Which makes her the Onee-chan of the Robins.

Tim is actually adopted into the Wayne family like Grayson, his real father passed away and Bruce took him in. As for Damian he's actually 9. He's the youngest out of them all, and probably the most vicious one of them too.
