You kinda wish? If I had a bride like Sun, I'd be absurdly happy. Loyal, beautiful, rich, traditional and a bit air-headed but gorgeous and she absolutely believes in fullfilling wifely duties. Think about it, her mermaid code of honor requires her to have sex with you! Aside from her family, what's not to like?

No no, her family is pretty much the only negative thing there. But her family is a BIG negative thing. I kept wondering through the course of the anime... "if such a protective family existed, how many people would mentally be able to put up with it without breaking off the relationship?" Yeah, not many. You'd have to want to love that girl for the rest of your life to put up with that kinda crap.
