Guessing this is someone's top 5 fav characters.
The only other connection I could think of is maybe it's about Your Inner self or being "reborn" into someone you always wanted to be.
Laggan's Simon, Shugo Chara Amu and Fresh Eas/Passion I remember all going through big changes from start to end.
