Oh please... I like Red, but eople overrate him like a God. Think about it. Red is a trully skilled Trainer and Champion, Gold is better at collecting badges, but Brendan/May and Lucas/Dawn prevented the entire world to be destroyed, while Hilbert/Hilda got chosen by legendary Pokémon as a hero.

All player characters have their own merits, why can't you see that?

If you actually looked this is a crossover between the games and Adventure Manga. Red is using his Adventures team, also based off the Manga Gold would lose due to him being in the Breeder category of Trainers
