twilight jester may have a point. I mean Asura's wrath form and the Vlitra core are basically identical to each other...don't know if that's "spoiler" or not but yeah.

or the game developers just made it that way :P.

If you know your mythos, then you'd know that Asura's are a race of misfit Demigods so there are others like the main in the game.

Viltra. Quote me on this if you want is also called an Asura in some tales, as well in their myth exist demons called rakshasa which are demons. Rakshasa and Asura are often swapped with their names and such.

So Viltra could just be a fallen Asura, given Asura's exist to unmake existences. fans should research their games. Some do others should.

^That's because the Vlitra Core is the anger personified of Gaea, meaning it uses Wrath mantra. You know who else uses Wrath mantra? Asura. Of course they would look similar, they both use the same mantra affinity.
