I accidently attack Petrus, I then avoid killing him(since wiki said it would make Rhea hostile) and intend to absolve the sin, but after that I accidently attack Oswald too. So I said "screw it" and kill oswald, though I still spare Petrus as I don't want to aggro Rhea.
However after Capra demon I tried to go back to Firelink shrine via elevator and met a surprise, as Petrus apparently spreaded nasty gossip about me and Rhea and her damn 2 clerics ganged up on me. In the end I found the way to kill them one-by-one. The last one is Rhea.
Strange enough, after I kill all her followers she didn't bother to fight me but instead run around the wall frantically. However at that time for me it is kill-or-be-kill moment and I one-sidedly struck her down. She cried "father..." and felt down. I feel like a complete dick killing defenseless woman but I couldn't risk her attacking me later...
TL;DR I murder Rhea due to stupid mistakes and feel like crap
