While I'm inclined to believe that the whole "Amy is Viola" thing is nothing more than the rustling of said epileptic trees, I will say that, if I'm not mistaken, they share a voice actress, at least in the English releases.

What DOESN'T make sense to me is the random change of hair color and, even less sense, the change of fighting style. Why abandon a weapon you've trained with for a while in favor of a harder to control, new one?

what she lose's she well gain, she lost her memorie's and her fighting style and she gain a new ability and a new fighting style and as for the hair color, she's a girl a lot of girls alway's change there hair color, anyway with what she gain she well use it to help her gain what she lost and she well become stronger.

*(technically, it'd have to be bleached to lighten to grey like Viola's, but even then, it doesn't really. My hair is very dark brown, but parts were bleached to be dyed purple, and it turned blonde when bleached, not grey. Red hair like hers wouldn't really be much different. Of course, this only matters if you're trying to apply logic.)

Even if it was possible that it's dyed or changed color by some more supernatural means, I'm not inclined to put stock in anything unless it's officially announced. I'm not really one for the fan theories, personally, though I don't mind those who enjoy them, especially when (as in this case) they're relatively plausible/reasonable.

Well, my theory for her hair colour changing is pretty much that with Raphael being her adoptive father and quite possibly a vampire things got a bit sucky along the line.

Viola could be or Amy's mother (hard to believe that) or she could be Amy, cause:
1.- Amy lost her memory and the orb is the only thing she found when she woke up(but the orb is draining Viola's old memories)
2.- the reason that Amy/Viola hair is silver is because the great amount of magic she is using
