The only thing the new Team Avatar has going for it is Pabu.

I'm enjoying Korra quite a bit but the story definitely isn't as adventure driven as the first one was. You just had a much more grand scale with Aang's story and everything. All the characters kind of popped more then and what not. The world was a little more interesting as whole to be honest.

I don't doubt that they can push multiple seasons out of Korra but i'm wondering if it's going to be any where near as adventurous as Aang's stuff was. Well just have to wait and see I guess.

Korra's a good watch, but I hope once it's over there might be an all new series, perhaps showing what the original team was up to after Ozai. Zuko did say that the world still needs repairs and would like Aang's help. That's already a set up for a new story

I know she'd be able to sense it, but they missed an opportunity by having Toph face the wrong way during the picture. Anyway, to the latest Anon comment, they did have a comic series showing what happened after the war. Toph opened a metalbender's school, Aang helped Zuko rebuild the Fire Nation, and Sokka helped put together Republic City, becoming one of its officials.

Legend of Korra, Steven Universe and Adventure Time ushered in the age of woke cartoons. Princess Bubblegum is easily the most toxic female cartoon character, I've ever had the displeasure to learned about. The purpose of Steven Universe was to indoctrinate the message into young minds. And it worked, sadly.
Finally. Legend of Korra split the fandom and taught girls it's okay steal someone's bf and gf. As long as you break up a good relationship in the process. Garbage writing, garbage show. I was never really invested in the other two shows. But I had such high hopes for LOK. Very disappointing.

Wokeness is an arbitrary and garbage concept. Being an adult when all these things were originally aired; I saw complaints about how Avatar was meant to indoctrinate kids to Eastern mysticism. I also, back then, discussed how on purpose the choice was to make the female characters (usually) competent compared to how unstable and whiny Zuko, goofy Sokka and pacifistic (and sissy like) Aang was. I was making fun of people who thought AT was problematic because the two frequently occurring female characters; Princess Bubblegum and Lumpy Space Princess, were kind of manipulative dicks. Then and even still now I'm rolling my eyes at people complaining about how ancient genocidal fascists are redeemed in Steven Universe. When it comes to nostalgia, what you're likely missing is the simplicity of youth. Trust me when I say whatever new thing you enjoyed back then, there was someone determined it was the end of culture.
