False! Excaliburn was given to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake, the sword taken from the stone was Caliburn.

also why is avalon there? that makes no sense to put a sword in it's sheath then drive it into a stone? that means your not trying to draw the sword out of the stone, your trying to draw it out of it's sheath and then the sheath out of the stone...
