this is my own opinion but heres a question, why do people like being called master? i mean in my own opinion it just sounds weird so yeah, why do people like being called that

It has less to do with being called master, and more to do with the implications that the statement makes. Being called, "master" is an indicator of the subject's "inferiority" to you. It is more along the lines of a term of endearment only with a more servile element to it instead. In a romantic relationship, specifically S&M, it is a term of complete and utter submission. The "slave" must obey the "master." To some, having someone wholly submit themselves to you is the highest form of sexual reward.
