They must have just got turtle shelled in Super Mario Kart in the 150cc right at the finish line and went from 1st to 5th in about 1.5 seconds.

It's obviously one of those dragon ball z games where you had to input a really long button sequence really fast before the title screen came up, in order to unlock the secret characters.

That reminds me of the first time as a really young kid playing Street Fighter. I had no idea how to do any of the special moves so I just mashed the controller like I knew what I was doing.
Then suddenly "HADOUKEN!" and Ryu shoots a fireball from his hands and I made the face in the pic.
