I don't recall this particular event but the fact that Tsubasa likes Ukyou is cannon. Also, Tsubasa is always cosplaying as various inanimate objects such as mailboxes and trees. Tsubasa sees Ranma as a rival for Ukyou's affections.

I like Tsubasa, but I ship Ranma with Ukyo. Because it just fits to well. the least insane character of the cast, who is a Tomboy.
Ukyo was also technically the only fiance to openly admit she doesn't care what form ranma is in. XD

Ukyo was a boring self entitled character. She blames Ranma for his father running away with a dowry, then treats her child hood friend like crap when he doesn't see her as a "fiancee".

Ukyo only says she doesn't care what gender Ranma is, because she doesn't care about Ranma. In Akane's case we can somewhat excuse her for not caring about Ranma since she had the whole engagement forced on her; but Uklyo WANTS the engagement yet she still never gives Ranma the benefit of a doubt.

No the only person that ever actually treated Ranma as one would somebody they love, is Tatewaki Kunou. Granted he doesn't comprehend the curse, but he always gives the "pigtailed girl" the benefit of a doubt.
