And you can safely approach them at any time (given that you wear a pumpkin).

Its funny, everytime I see an Enderman ingame, I have this uncontrollable impulse to just blurt out "oh, hai Enderman!" out loud, run up to him/her, then I get the blocks beat out of me. One day, I'll meet a freindly Enderman like her, I just know it.
