Naruto should have been about Kakashi instead.

Just when everyone thought Naruto's life was sadder, this guy has it Big time.

@Zoku374 What?
While it wasn't a walk in the part either, Kakashi's life was nowhere near as sad as Naruto's.

Really? Why don't we (and everyone else on gelbooru if they're interested.) elaborate what Kakashi went through.

He lost his father, who committed suicide out of shame, his best friend died (not really) and gave him his sharingan, his teacher (Naruto's father) dies, his most promised student Sasuke (Whose guts are hated by the fandom.) defected towards his village's greatest enemy, and it comes full circle on the 4th ninja war, where his optimistic best friend, who he thought was dead is now the greatest criminal mastermind and gets jealous that Rin died spending her time with Kakashi.

@Zoku

Wait, really? He was jealous? Because that sounds really familiar.

@Zoku374
You'd have to be one massive fanboy to believe any of that gets even close to what Naruto's been facing since he wore diapers and was alone in a village whose entire population hated his guts without telling him the reason, up until the fate of the fucking world is put on his shoulders by pretty much everyone else.

"His Most promised student defecting?" That's nothing compared to the Sauce supposedly being Naruto's first "bond" (the first person who understood him) and then turnining into his worst enemy. Not even commenting on how ridiculous it is to use the 4th War as an argument for Kakashi (when Naruto's burden on it is MUCH bigger than his) but to even go as far as to say his life was harder because "his optmistic best friend got jealous that Rin spent time with Kakashi".

Seriously Zoku, get off Kakashi's dick for a minute and get real.

I never said that I was a fanboy of Kakashi. I'm pointing out that since the recent chapters revealed that tobi is obito, who masterminded everything in the series from killing Minato and Kushina as he unleashed the Nine-tailed fox, to creating the criminal organization Akatsuki.

Doesn't the same thing apply to Kakashi and Obito?

If you look at the first chapter/episode, Mizuki outright told Naruto the reason the village hated him after the latter steals a scroll unknowingly. Also, EVERYONE in the village hated him? I'm surprised you haven't realized that the Third Hokage (before his death) cared for him and so did Hinata, and this was before Sasuke even acknowledged him. I partially agree with your argument, but you forgot to mention what I said in my paragraph.

Its still different from Naruto's case.

1) No, the bond thing doesn't apply to Kakashi and Obito. That's because unlike Naruto, Kakashi didn't grow up entirely without bonds (its implied Chapter1 was the very first time Iruka ever expressed any OPEN kindness to Naruto).

Kakashi also lost he who had become his best friend, but its not like he always thought "Obito is the first person I've met who understand the same pain I have felt all my life". Obito helped open Kakashi's eyes, but its not like he (Kakashi) had grown as an outcast that was lieterally OBSESSED with whatever true bond he could create. Naruto was, though.

2) Yes Mizuki told Naruto the reason why the village hated in on chapter1. Weird though, I don't remember "Naruto's life" starting on chapter1. I was sure he already was 12 years old by that time. That was an entire childhood spent being hated/ignored by everyone around you without even knowing the reason.

Also, its useless to try and use people like the 3rd Hokage or Hinata as counter-arguments, because even though they didn't treat Naruto badly, they also never approached him to comfort him or talk to him. So tell me, what good was that there were a couple of people who saw him differently, if they never did anything that showed it? As far as Naruto was concerned, they were just 2 mroe people who simply didn't want to talk to him. How could he know they were different if they never said anything?

So Im sorry, but Im afraid its ridiculous to say Kakashi's life was as sad as Naruto. Among all the characters in the manga, Gaara is the only one whose life can be compared to Naruto's in terms of sadness.

The only the thing naruto ever had for a bad childhood was "no friends" and being an orphan.

I'm sorry, but kakashi while kakashi went to WAR you have naruto being a little kid.

Get real guys, naruto has it nice compared to everyone else.

You go by the false understanding that "My problems + Your bigger problems = I have no problems" Just because someone has a comparatively bigger problem doesn't mean another person without problems as big has no problems.

Naruto grew up ignored and virtually isolated from everyone else which fucks a kid up mentally. The only attention he could get was the bad kind but beggars can't be choosers.

Kakashi's father committed seppuku (sp?) leaving Kakashi an orphan with severe trauma. Kakashi then trained to become a super ninja and advanced to genin at five and proceeding to go to war while climbing the ranks. He killed numerous people before puberty.

Kakashi had it worse, that does not mean Naruto's childhood is now a bucket of sunshine. That's like saying "I have AIDS" when another person says "Suck it up, I have Skin Cancer" They're both treatable but Cancer is clearly the worst out of the two, that does not mean guy 1 can't complain about his AIDS though, ya know?
