Leaf is a fan-name. Blue is the closest she has to an official name due to it being the name of the character in the manga. (Multiple if I'm not mistaken.) These are images of characters from the concept art of Red/Green and Gold/Silver. Furthermore there is an alias that states that Leaf is to be known as Blue as well as the fact that "Leaf" has in no media looked like the beta character that Blue was based upon. Lastly she uses that tag Blue_(pokemon) whereas only a few use the Leaf_(pokemon). Please do not use it.

nah,when fans saying/writing "leaf",they mean blue in FRLG and "blue" that isn't a pokespe character.this name is made cause not so many fans know that blue beta persona had been created,long before FRLG.so that they call FRLG heroine as leaf.not to be confused with pokspe chara that has same name.
