A woman made this, I don't think she's expecting the people to be paying attention to the women in there. I think she wants the guys to stand out (seeming, you know, women and their yaoi). Not like in other animes where the guys look like they've been hit by a car while the girls look like four-year-olds with ginormous breasts.

I think the art style just goes for realism overall, think I've seen more of this kinda body than a figure 8..
