Well, it's hard to really get the *full* extent of the joke (although being called "aunt" right as you're thinking the "sister" thing is plenty) in such a literal translation, but she called her "Leafa-oba-san," whereas oba-san has two meanings, aunt, the one she is intending, or a middle-aged woman.
