I would've just held her feet off the ground. If the legs tried straightening up, all it would do is lift her back off the ground.

Another option would've have been to make her lay on her stomach. Seriously, you try standing up while lying on your stomach without using your hands.

You ever getting up off your back with enough force to snap your spine and throw 180+ pounds off you... without using your hands? I don't think the legs would be affected by whichever pose she was placed in.

The problem with trying to hold her feet off the ground is being strong enough to move the legs, which are being manipulated by the exosystem. And if you are, avoiding having your chest caved in when they kick you with a few thousands pounds of force.

Also, i just got up in ten seconds using just my lower back and legs, although it was painful to my knees. I think the suit could manage it.
