As hilarious as this is, it kind of neglects the fact that May and Dawn may not even have become coordinators to begin with if they hadn't met Ash. Heck, they may even have died at some points if they'd never met Ash, given how completely helpless and incompetent they were at first.
Really, Ash is a fantastic bro. You chill with him, and you get to go on adventures, meet celebrities (various League Champions, Elite Four members, Gym Leaders, and other important figures in their world, even royalty), meet and befriend living gods (the legendaries), see awesome Pokemon battles, and, if you decide you want to pursue some dream that forces you to part ways, he's completely cool with it, and will even do everything he can to support you!
He's like that one gay friend chicks sometimes have, only asexual instead of gay (so no worries about sexual tension), and about ten times more awesome (the gay will friend will let youcrah in his place, but Ash will lead you on a journey to some magical kingdom forgotten by time).
