I'm going to assume that those black hands on the scythe and his belt are some sort of censorship to cover a possibly inappropriate symbol, or more likely a copywrited logo. Because if they're not, they ruin an otherwise awesome armor design.

And yes, I know the tag says it's an axe, but from the design, I can picture the blade shifting up to latch into place to use the black spectrum edge on the underside.

They are not censorship. The hand was used to match up with the primary collectable of Wizard, the Magic Rings. He'd slip them on and then touch the hand symbols to use various spells.

Furthermore while the blade cannot angle up to become a scythe, it can shrink with the silver rimming on the axe's "Handle" becoming the blade of a longsword.
