22-year-old Ritsumeikan University sophomore Naganohara Mio-chan

Even though she intentionally enrolled in a low-standards high school, Mio-chan lost her objective when she scored lower marks than Sasahara-senpai. When the time came for entrance exams, her true self would not finish with such a low-level school. She was inspired. She would aim for a top university as a ronin*. However, arrested development came to Mio-chan as she diligently completed the same assignments and solved the same problems she had been for years, failing miserably her first year. Continuing her life as a rounin into a second year she still set a high goal to attend one of the nation's best, receiving a retainer** to enroll into Ritsumeikan University. ...MARCH "The third month". The isolation of her new surroundings was difficult to get used to and this would drag down the pride she felt after entering collage. Yukko got a job at her old high school, the work she does there is fulfilling but it keeps her busy, having passed one of the National Seven Universities***, Mai-chan got a job offer in early April working for a blue-chip company, and as for Mio-chan, she felt that she had failed at life. Being estranged from her closest high school friends was a miserable feeling. Instead of going to collage, she spent the day in her cheep apartment. While smothered in the smoke of her cigarette Mio-chan muttered toward the empty space. "Why did this happen to us?" After this I'm going to use that twitter app.

* Here, a ronin refers to someone who spends a year or more studying to get into a university they otherwise wouldn't qualify for.
** A provisional enrollment. She barely missed qualifying. However many students take exams for more than one university so as they choose to go to another university those with retainers fill those spots.
