Technically, the human heart has about 20000 brain cells. While you'd most likely stop moving, feeling anything, or even care after your head has been eaten (because of the whole lack of headbrain thing), your heart will continue to pump blood for a bit longer for her to possibly finish you off. It all depends on how well she can time things.

Actually that's a (partial) myth. The mantis eats its mate if it's hungry, otherwise the bastard can get out, the males have the possibility of mating more than once.

Also, she no longer has that, relatively, giant mantis mouth to eat you with. If she tried to eat your head she would probably just hurt her teeth and then give up. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a snack on hand to give her :)

Technically if she's fed ALOT she wont want to eat you...but dont forget mantis ....eat ALOT...and I mean ALOT more times there body weight....prepare a buffet.....u gonna need it.
