GHIBLI DON'T DO SEQUELS.
While I agree we could use more, I have been experiencing fluctuating feelings for Kiki for practically 15 years, and just recently gave up hope of her ever being in another official movie, or anything... I learned to let her remain, immortal, in her own time, rather than thinking fruitlessly that she'd come back someday.
It's so soon with Arrietty, though, so who knows what they'll do.
