Girls Und Panzer could be an awesome turn based tank rpg.
in the anime the team has a mix of 1920s-1940s tanks. the panzer 4 is their 2nd most powerful vehicle after a tiger porche.

Three-way tie for second, considering the StuG and eventual Hetzer are on par if not better than the late-model configured Pzkw Mk.IV.
Sure could be a decent game, though it might be a bit one-sided in some cases. You'd have to be able to take advantage of terrain/environment, and maybe have movement speeds become a thing. Probably be most easily done in the form of move distance...
