So anyway, maybe it's a glass bottle?

Also, these aren't used where I live anymore, but when I was younger there were some plastic bottles that had much thicker walls, maybe those still exist in Japan?

Also, it looks like so far she still only has the bottom part inserted, that part is sturdier sometimes depending on the design, like on cola/fanta bottles.

Or we go with the much simpler explanation: the bottle's not actually empty. There's air bubbles near the cap, and I'm pretty sure an empty bottle doesn't refract light the way the bottle does in this and the previous picture.
