Nope. First of all, Sirknight is just Gardevoir's Japanese name, not what it's English name literally translates to. The name Gardevoir is a mix between Garde (French for guard) and Devoir (French for duty). You can relate that to the idea of a knight, but it's not a direct translation.
Second, Gardevoir's concept is based more on a guardian angel with some knightly virtues. It's Gallade that takes on the more knight-like concept.
Third, no matter how you try to twist it around, the fact is that the Gardevoir race is made up of both male and female members, and if an artist wishes to have the Gardevoir in their work be a female, then it's female. Period.
