I'd just like to point out that just because someone calls you a child, doesn't mean you are one.
Also, you could consider anything not an adult (so, under 18) a child, so there's that, too.
Hell, I'm a full-grown adult, but I'm constantly talked to like a kid because I have a young face, and that doesn't make me any less of an adult. And honestly, they look much more like teenagers than children in this game.

Yup, now it's if you have huge boobs that you're a teenager.
You know, there's adult who are small with a flat chest. As well for teenagers.
Shauna is 13-14 IMO, and Serena/Calem are 14-15 IMO.
