What are you talking about? Lightning is not the same character she was in the beginning of 13. She even realizes this half way through the game, that she was just being angry for no good reason.

The dislike for Lightning comes from the dislike of XIII as a whole. And really, it's kinda understandable why XIII isn't liked. The game has problems. LOTS of them.
The sequels may or may not pick up the slack, but the damage was done.

I was just making a general observation that since lots of people dislike XIII, they also in turn dislike Lightning.
I know XIII has problems from the things I've heard but that does not mean that I hate the game or the characters within it.
I actually think this game looks kinda fun, as a matter of fact.

Since the zipper-loving asshole behind the character designs for Kingdom Hearts took over Squeenix, every single fucking character to come out of the company looks like they're trying to be a fashion model.
Seriously the designs for FFX to 13 are absolutely fucking atrocious. The guy is basically Japan's Liberace. I can't even get past the terrible, TERRIBLE costumes to give the game a try.
That and the story sounds awful. Why would anyone like this game?

I get wat ur saying but character design costumes makes every rpg have certain style.. almost like MJ his outfits kinda influences their designs.. more hip pop like.If u played The Bouncer ps2 game it has that look but Chars wear black only cuz its cool having just black leather clothing kinda makes it dull without adding any color, to me it doesn't stand out... like FFVII Advent Children can fit in FFXV world cuz they can blend in..
