Uh, it is closer to step mother and daughter anon#1, Lu Lingqi IS Lu Bu's daughter. It's just that historical records don't give her name so koei named her Lu Lingqi

diao chan's relationship with lu bu was never formalized, it was more guy-and-his-16-year-old mistress type of deal. plus, i'm not sure how much time elapsed between his flight from luoyang and his ultimate defeat, but it seems his daughter, who was by then old enough to wed, and diao chan are almost sisters-type age range from one another.

It's tricky but Koei said-Since Lu Lingqi is one of many people who has nothing personally written in depth about her, Miyauchi remarks that it was difficult to devise her scenarios. He stressed that her relationship with Diaochan was one of the hardest hurdles for them to tackle.

And judging by the fact that Lingqi only appears in the historical route and Diaochan only appears in the hypothetical route, I guess they gave up on that particular hurdle, huh?

Diaochan is a fictional character, though. Created solely for ROTK.

Lu Bu's historical wife is Lady Yan, who has yet to be a playable character in these games. I can only wonder how Koei will fit her in...especially with Lu Lingqi & Diaochan all in the SAME scene. :P
