It true that its previous evolutions would drain life energy of who-ever was foolish enough to grab it. However there is no pokedex info saying that its final evolution would do that as well. So until the pokedex says so, to me its safe to hold Aegislash.

Doublade meanwhile, simply has a comment on how awesome it's Dual-Wield attacks are.
Aegislash, meanwhile, is said to be rather Excalibur-like, with those it chooses being destined to be Kings.
