Ugh. I dislike accents written out like that SO much. It hurts to read.
There's ways to convey an accent without butchering the English language.

I'm fairly certain that that is the correct way to write that accent.

It sounds exactly as written, no butchering was done.

I can understand the complaint, it's similar to writing out a stutter. A good writer avoids things like that and finds other ways to convey it. That said, this isn't literature, so what a good writer would do is kind of irrelevant.
