Not everybody thinks of number pads when they think fighting games. Directions and abbreviations like QCF just make more sense.

Also he mentioned two KOF characters, so that moots the Street Fighter thing too.

Really it's a tomato tomahto deal. Long as you get the idea of what people are saying, what's it matter? Doesn't make you a scrub.
