She treats like shit by beating him up over situations that aren't his fault, if she was truly his "friend" I imagine she'd give him the benefit of the doubt and overlook an obvious misunderstanding.
The least she could've did is gave the guy a fucking thank you at the very least, her being "unable to express her feelings" is bullshit, the number of times she gets pissed at him over a simple accident is proof of that.
This kiss she gave him at the end of the OVA was out of pity, not love. She hits him BECAUSE he's a guy, not because he's the one she "likes". Last I checked, slapping or otherwise abusing the one you "love" isn't exactly the best way to show someone that you like them. Also, would this have happened if it was a girl there instead of him? I guarantee you it wouldn't.
She also kissed him because the idiot author is trying to pair him up with this crazy, abusive bitch here for whatever godforsaken reason.

I guess masochism clearly doesn't turn you on.
Episode 2 temporarily removed her tsundere inhibitions, and it was a bit weird (albeit very erotic). Even Takeru himself was taken aback by it, and was at his happiest when she regained herself and clobbered him.
Some people just like to be abused :D

I'll never understand how masochism can turn ANYONE on, but that's just me.
Maybe it was unusual, but she was much more pleasant and dare I say...likable?
He was happy because she was in the middle of doing something nice for him while during that same moment she was getting her bitch factor turned back on.
This episode would've been better if he went ahead and said: "Fuck her memories, she's actually NICE to me and treats me like an actual friend! And she doesn't hit me either!" She was much better off without her memories, I could actually stand her.
I've only seen one case in anime where the MC enjoyed being abused.
It gets on my nerves because they never do anything about it, or at least show some kind of displeasure over being treated like that. But I guess in Japan or in anime at least, women can do no wrong no matter how bitchy they are, show a little remorse and even the worst deeds are forgiven.
I'd never want to be abused, I'd kick her ass the second she tries some shit like that. And I'd beat her worse and worse if she tried it again.
Sorry for the long post, and yes, I WOULD hit a girl. That goes double for tsunderes.

Different strokes for different folks. Haruko just isn't a character designed for you is all.
I for one love when she gets super embarrassed and smacks Takeru upside the head because he caught a glimpse of her nipples. If she was like she was in episode 2 all the time, she would get boring to me and her nip slips would lose some of their power.
There is an allure in wanting what we can't have, and that's what characters like this play off of

That's fine, at least if she's going to be a tsundere, I wish they'd at least TRY to strike a balance somewhere. Honestly, I'd like her a whole lot more if you just take away the abusive part of her character, that's really my only gripe with her.
At least if she's going to continue being abusive, I'd rather it be slaps instead of punches, kicks, knees, energy blasts and whatever else these girls love do to their so-called "love interests"/punching bags.
I don't agree with your post, but I do respect it.

Welcome to the modern world, where a woman can beat a man for no real reason and people will defend her to the death.

TV shows aren't real, movies aren't real, video games aren't real, yet they all change to reflect modern reality. Anime is no different.
