No clue what you are even trying to say. Media reflects whatever vision/idea the creators would like to express, not necessarily reality.

Fictional girl slapping a fictional guy does not equate to a domestic abuse case you see on the 11 oclock news.

There's nothing pathetic about hitting a girl, if someone tries to hit me, expect to be hit back, that's how I roll. Please, I'd kick Haruko's sorry ass in no time flat, and I don't see any reason to hold back against her when they clearly don't against the guys.

So defending yourself is wrong all of a sudden? I'm not gonna let someone beat on me just because they're a pretty girl.

I don't see any reason to let them get away with it just because of their gender, you guys wanna be living punching bags? Fine. As for me, I'm gonna kick the shit out of any bitch who tries this "tsundere" garbage.

I think you are truly missing the point here. Haruko isn't beating the shit out of Takeru, slaps like this don't actually hurt him. They are exaggerated for comedic effect.

But go on, you seem quite set on finding reasons to beat on women.

*throws hands up in the air* Sure, it's exaggerated for "comedy", I'm not saying I promote beating women just because.

But I'm not just gonna sit there and let myself be abused and do nothing about it. If hitting them keeps them off my back, why not do it?

Hypthetical Question: Would any of you dumb shits laugh if it was Takeru beating Haruko's bitch ass with a sword?

No? I thought so.

You keep mistaking this as abuse. These are childhood friends displaying a basic ecchi trope.
And according to episode 2, having Haru-nee "on your back" is quite a good thing

I'm none of the previous anons, but I'm an actual woman, and I hate the tsundere character type, too, mostly because they come across as obnoxious and abusive to me, and a lot of their fans will defend them to the death, as though they can do no wrong. I hate most chick flicks for the same reason; hideous overreactions to common misunderstandings.

I also understand that it's supposed to be "comedy", but I don't find it funny. There's nothing comedic about abusing someone you're supposed to love.

If a man slapped me, I'd hit him right back. If another woman hit me, I'd do the same thing.

In short, I agree with the anons saying if they were hit, they'd hit back. Hitting for no reason? Unacceptable. In self defense? Fine by me.

as for your hypothetical... That isn't how ecchi works. You are over-thinking this and taking it out of context. Haruko never maliciously beats on Takeru

My question is why do you have violent or defendant reactions in mind when you watch ecchi? You watch it to fap, not to analyze the realistic causality and consequences of the characters actions.
