I would have included the 50s anime films like Shounen Sarutobi Sasuke ["Magic Boy" in the west], Sally the Witch, Hakushon Daimaou, Gegege no Kitarou etc... I see most of the sixties were by Tezuka, so why not include Ribbon Knight (Princess Knight in the west)? She's only, oh I dunno... One of the first fictional female role models in comics/manga, after only Betty Boop and Wonderwoman
