ahaha this is embarrassing, y'all kids? Sorry, sorry. I'd get it if the controversy stemmed from the sudden changes made to her old GG2O design, that doesn't seem the case tho. Most people just seem hella butthurt she's rockin' that brown frown and that folks identify her as black, just like so many already identify dozens of whitish looking animu characters as european. So what, Indian-pacific-islander-thai-indonesians can claim her too, if they wish. There's really no restriction. Just look at how the Japanese portray themselves in anime, their own "ethnic traits" are pretty scarce, hehe. Haha. So silly. It's all about enhancing your immersion and enjoyment. Please don't be mad or upset because people identify with her. She's a beautiful addition to the roster and I'm glad she's here.
Btw, Africa is vast, not everybody there adheres to the US blackface stereotype, many different looks, like the khoi-san. But that's really not the point, is it.

This whole dumbass argument could have halted instantly at the fact that she's not human. At all. She doesn't have an ethnicity, unless you count biological weapon. dark_skin is always the tag used, and it's used literally.
