all I did was fight --shit, been so long since i played the first one-- the guy with the pole like 2 times, then i did the 3-on-1 3 times and i beat him. since thats not enough to lvl u up, as some of you may know, i simply needed to get practice with lock-on and un-lock swiftly in oreder to move around in a beastly way. lost to him once, and then left the island with the score 120:1 and lvl 17. lost out on a few abilities cuz of it tho.

I dominated Riku, and all of the game, until that stupid side-boss snake thing.. That thing would destroy me. But I could grind the entire game easily besides that.

Riku's hard until you realize that he only does the fling kick thing every fourth time you hit him. Then it's just a matter of keeping track of your hits and moving after you deal the fourth hit.

when youre new to the game, yes... this is a hard fight.... but the second playthrough, it was easy as hell
