The main thing you had to look out for was his spring jump attack. Where he rolls into a "ball" and launches himself at you. If can avoid that then you got a pretty good chance at victory.

Yeah. After a while I beat him too! It's just one of those games where you can beat substantially higher enemies. It just takes longer.

in the begining of the game, I never knew what happens if you lost to him. A friend told me you still keep going. :/

I won always against him xD
when i left the island its been like 100:0 for Sora couse i wanted the Potions to save money in the later game xD
and iw as lvl 15 after that so enough until world 4 xD
