Um, I don't understand the purpose of all these. Water torture? Is the dried plum to give a her a tantalizing taste?

She's a demon I think. And these are things that annoy/weaken demons in some mythologies. So there.

I'd like to know what mythology says iced coffee weakens demons. The Starbucks Theory of Demonology?

The plum is dried, the coffee beans will help melt the ice faster, the water will be absorbed by the plum, eventually swelling up and blocking the airholes in the gag.

By the end of this torture, she'll be breathing solely through her nose.

Translation error. The character "water" with a additional point means "ice".

Anon3 - Wrong kind of beans (soy beans, not coffee), but don't give Schultz any ideas.

To anyone thinking pet bottle is a weird translation, PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, the kind of plastic soda bottles are made from. Not so much bad translation, so much as odd wording.

One problem- water expands when it freezes, so the melting ice shouldn't overflow.

It looks like there's a hole in the bottom of the bottle for the water to flow out. I'm not sure what the beans are for though, they won't make the ice melt any faster. I think whoever put her in this might have been a little bit crazy...
