This injury is far too common, it's main cause is the gun's owner not warning the person about to shoot that it kicks like an upety horse, because it's funny and you can send the footage to Funniest Home Videos. If you're going to let someone use your Desert Eagle, warn them for pity sake! Skulls have been known to crack open from a recoiling Desert Eagle.
