Well of course she got kill in those back chapters, but If it look like she will be killed, but as a reader there was a possibility that she could be left alive, (not the case though)

well that sucks

and in the chapters she looks with a darker skin tone

I wonder if she have some green color, kind of ugly
or just a darker version of her skin, that would be better
