It's probably pointless speculating over a hand-drawn image, but both lenses look like large-aperture 50mm primes. The Contax II was sold with a Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 while the Nikon had both a 50mm f/1.4 and a 50mm f/2 I think. I had to search for this info since I'm not an RF shooter.
For a two-prime photojournalism setup I'd rather forgo the 50mm and bring an 85mm instead. 50mm headshots on 35mm film looks funny. An 85 would look OK while keeping the bulk down. Some might choose a 35mm over the 28mm but that is a matter of taste.
