I suppose she is close to one though. In Japanese terms she could be labeled as a Bake-Neko similar to Black Hanekawa from Monogatari series

@ Anon 1 um then you didn't see the whole series or you'd know that she is indeed a cat girl it shows that she is and that the girls have a inner conflict fight because of it Blake and Weiss were on opposite sides of the conflict don't believe me here is the video proof www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1gs8KrM-M so please know your facts before you write mean or angry comments about anime characters and if after you learn the full story you still feel like that then by all means comment away

@solaria did you read the same comment that I did?
I don't see how anon 1's comment could be taken as mean, to me it seems like anon was defending Blake in this picture, because she looks so cute that the monster_girl tag seems inappropriate.

I think just in thought of the nature of Faunas from Remnant, we should not have the monstergirl monsterboy -whatever tag. In respect of what they fight for.

Read the gelbooru wiki. Always.
monster_girl

Half-human, half-monster girls. Common examples include:

bee_girl
centaur
harpy
insect_girl
lamia
mermaid
scylla
slime / goo_girl
spider_girl

Does not include common animal-eared girls such as cat_girls, or specifics such as demon_girl.

See post #401 for more information.

"She's not a monster!"

Woulda been a much easier way to say it that wouldn't have started an unusual war in the comments about the tag. It wasn't a question of if the image should be tagged 'monster_girl' or not, it was a just a fan of blake saying she's not a monster, which is something Blake herself makes strides to point out to her friends in the episode this image is of origin.
