You know the thing I really hate with those creatures?

They're badass, frightening, mighty and have a so intimidating and powerfull look. When I see them, I feel they're incarnation of Earth Mother's Wrath, feel they're above us, humans, in the Food Chain, and feel we gonna need a group of military elites to, at least, have a fair fight against them....

The way I look at it, so far in the series we've only watched hunters and huntresses fight these monsters of grim. They're specially trained individuals meant to fight and defeat them so it's exactly as you said they're a "military elites" force. The RWBY cast of main characters are exceptionally talented as well, which I agree does make them seem weak and less intimidating.

Now with that aside. I think if we where to see these monsters attack normal folk, we'd be painted a different picture. Maybe in future episodes we'll get a chance to see why these monsters are so dangerous that they have to make an entire school dedicated to training hunters/huntresses for them.

Hey Twix, if you're reading this and have kept up with the series, are you still thinking it's BS that they're so intimidating but weak? The one's Ruby fought were young bloods to say with ease.
