Got to agree with Anon 1 looking at cure unlovely pics has me really confused. Here cure unlovely is clearly female and its countered as a genderswap. However there are pics where cure unlovely is clearly male and its still countered as a genderswap. Does that make cure unlovely the 3rd gender?
Looking at the anime I would say Cure unlovely is a male to female genderswap of Phantom because Cure unlovely clearly has a female voice while as Phantom its clearly male.

Phantom becomes cure lovely's dark persona, he becomes the protagonist in some sense, so it's some kind of genderswap tg from male to female.

Which makes me think... she called herself un-lovely due to having used lovely's shadow, as a clear reference to dark persona. If he had used princess'... would the name be cure slave?
