Great Patriotic War, prior to 1943 -- no epaulettes on the gymnasterkas. Summer uniforms. Therefore, either summer of 1941 or summer of 1942. Either way, this bunch are in trouble.

Guy on the far left seems to be wearing a Ssh-36, there's no comb on it though.
