If Nintendo was half as greedy as people think, they'd have done it themselves. They'd be on this as soon as people started chopping down Wii motherboards. The last ones before the Wii Mini were nearly a Wii on a chip (soggy!) and some maniac is bound to desolder one and cooerce it into a Game Boy cartridge.
